Jeroen van den Muyzenberg
Jeroen has worked in various high performance computing and eResearch related capacities since the early 1990s. He has worked at various Australian universities as well as the CSIRO over that time, providing research support to a diverse range of disciplines and research groups. Jeroen specialises in a range of web technologies, data and information management, and computational workflow frameworks.
Amanda Miotto
Amanda Miotto is an eResearch Support Specialist in Griffith University’s eResearch Services group. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Bioinformatics before gaining hands on experience developing software systems in support of a range of projects in genomics, systems biology and adult stem cell research. She writes in php, python and R primarily and has worked on projects such as AISRAP,1000 Voices and the Prosecution Project sites, Galaxy, Limesurvey and OMERO customizations and Nimrod/HPC integration.
Michael McGuinness
Michael McGuinness is a Senior Analyst (undertaking Business Analysis and Project Management activities) for Griffith Universities eResearch Services Team. Michael started his career in IT at IBM in 2005 working in the call centre, he soon progressed to supporting the call centres desktop fleet with over 500 staff. Michael has also worked with large clients such as Jetstar, Westpac and ABB. Michael joined Griffith University in 2012 as a Server Support Administrator, and in 2016 began working in the eResearch Services Team. Michael has a Bachelor of Information Technology from Griffith University and Industry Certificatification in Project Management and Business Analysis, he is also a member of the International Institute of Business Analysis and the Project Management Institute. He works using agile methodologies to constantly gather requirements as the project is progressing and undergoing changes throughout its lifecycle. This includes using scrum methods to track tasks allowing all stakeholders to be aware of the current progress of the project. Michael was a member of the project team conducting data migration for all staff and student data across Griffith University, winning a team award for Outstanding Client Service by a team (Presented by Griffith University).
Sam Wolski
Sam is a User Interface Designer and Web Developer in Griffith University’s eResearch Services group. Graduating with a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) from Griffith University QCA in 2008, he’s held several industry positions before returning to Griffith University and eResearch Services.
Since then, he’s been involved in the development of many projects, such as Griffith Experts, the Pacific iClim Project and the Biodiversity & Climate Change Virtual Lab. He specialises in data visualisation, often developing interfaces that allow opaque or dense data to be explored via graphs and maps in web-based applications.

Darcelle Hinze
Darcelle is a Web Designer and Developer at Griffith University in the eResearch Services team, where she has been involved in projects such as Griffith University QSurge, the Pacific iClim Project and The Prosecution Project. Graduating from Griffith University in December 2013, Darcelle was awarded a university medal as the highest achieving student in her degree, Bachelor of Multimedia. Recently, she received a Queensland State iAward, and national Merit iAward for her involvement as a team member in the “Kidz@GCU Hopsital” Project. Darcelle is experienced in many aspects of website and web application development including branding, web design, database design, front and back-end website development with strong a focus on User Interface and User Experience design.
