Prosecution Project data is available to the public user via a number of media, including:
- the public search page of the project website, https://app.prosecutionproject.griffith.edu.au/web/public-search
- from other websites that access Prosecution Project data – including Trove (https://trove.nla.gov.au/), in its ‘People and Organisations’ zone; and Tasmanian Names Index ( https://www.libraries.tas.gov.au/how-to/Pages/Names-Index-content.aspx) which also provides links to original records sourced for the Prosecution Project.
- harvest metadata using the Open Archives Initiative Protocol for Metadata harvesting (OAI-PMH), as described here (https://prosecutionproject.griffith.edu.au/documentation/) and here (https://prosecutionproject.griffith.edu.au/access/). Note that files stored here are from data accessed in 2018 and may be less complete or accurate than current data.
- the Australian Criminal Justice History Dataverse ( https://dataverse.ada.edu.au/dataverse/australian_historical_criminal_justice_data). This is the project’s primary public-facing archive repository and is discussed here (https://prosecutionproject.griffith.edu.au/dataverse/)
